My name is Narayan Prasad Bhandari and I am a licensed independent trekking guide.

I am 28 years old and based in Pokhara where I live with my lovely family - my wife and my beautiful baby boy.

I grew up in Kaski where I began work as a porter to help support my schooling. Once I had finished my education I worked for a year in a government office job, but to be honest I loved the outdoors too much, so I made the decision to move to Pokhara and obtain my official Tredkking Guide, which I did with an A Grade. I started my first trek in March 1998 and since then I have been a guide to many people from all over the world. It has allowed me to start up a local cold store business where my family are based whilst I conduct my trekking tours.

My aim as your trekking guide is to give you the most enjoyable experience possible in my beautiful country - over the years I have covered all of the most popular trekking destinations and routes, so with prior discussion by email we can plan a trek around your individual requirements and within a pre-arranged budget. I can cater for various age groups and levels of experience, and I am able to to organise any additional requirements such as porters, transport etc
